মিরসরাই উপজেলা মডেল মসজিদ ও ইসলামিক সাংস্কৃতিক কেন্দ্র উদ্বোধন করা হয় ২০২১ সালের ১০ জুন বৃহস্পতিবার । মিরসরাই এর এই দৃষ্টিনন্দন মসজিদ ও ইসলামিক সাংস্কৃতিক কেন্দ্রের উদ্বোধন করেন মাননীয় প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনা । সকাল সাড়ে ১০টায় গণভবন থেকে ভিডিও কনফারেন্সে এই উদ্বোধন ঘোষণা করেন তিনি । এসময় মিরসরাইয়ে উপজেলা মডেল মসজিদ ও সাংস্কৃতিক কেন্দ্র উদ্বোধন করেন সাবেক মন্ত্রী ইঞ্জিনিয়ার মোশাররফ হোসেন এমপি । মিরসরাই উপজেলা সম্প্রসারিত ভবনের পাশে নির্মিত মডেল মসজিদ ও ইসলামী সাংস্কৃতিক কেন্দ্রটি বি-ক্যাটাগরি হিসেবে ৪০ শতাংশ জমির উপর নির্মিত হয়েছে। তৃতীয়তলা ভিত্তি বিশিষ্ট তৃতীয়তলা মডেল মসজিদ (টাইপ-বি) প্রতি ফ্লোরের আয়তন ১ হাজার ৬৮০ দশমিক ১৪ বর্গমিটার । ভবনের মোট আয়তন ২৯,৬০০ বর্গফুট । বাস্তবায়ন ব্যয় ১৩ কোটি ৪১ লাখ ৮০ হাজার টাকা । এই মডেল মসজিদ ও ইসলামিক সাংস্কৃতিক কেন্দ্রের ভৌত অবকাঠামো গণপূর্ত অধিদপ্তরের মাধ্যমে বাস্তবায়িত হয়েছে । বাস্তবায়নকারি সংস্থা ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন । উদ্যোগী মন্ত্রণালয় ধর্মবিষয়ক মন্ত্রণালয় । মিরসরাই উপজেলা মডেল মসজিদে একসঙ্গে ৯শত মানুষের নামাজ আদায়ের ব্যবস্থা রয়েছে । আধুনিক সুযোগ-সুবিধা সম্বলিত এই সুবিশাল মডেল মসজিদ ও ইসলামিক সাংস্কৃতিক কমপ্লেক্সে নারী ও পুরুষের আলাদা ওযু ও নামাজ আদায়ের ব্যবস্থা রয়েছে, লাইব্রেরি, গবেষণা কেন্দ্র, ইসলামিক বই বিক্রয় কেন্দ্র, কোরআন হেফজ বিভাগ, শিশু শিক্ষা, অতিথিশালা, বিদেশি পর্যটকদের আবাসন, মৃতদেহ গোসলের ব্যবস্থা, হজযাত্রীদের নিবন্ধন ও প্রশিক্ষণ, ইমামদের প্রশিক্ষণ, অটিজম কেন্দ্র, গণশিক্ষা কেন্দ্র, ইসলামী সংস্কৃতি কেন্দ্র রয়েছে । এছাড়া ইমাম-মুয়াজ্জিনের আবাসনসহ সাংস্কৃতিক কেন্দ্রে কর্মকর্তা-কর্মচারীদের জন্য অফিসের ব্যবস্থা এবং গাড়ি পার্কিং সুবিধা রাখা হয়েছে ।

The third floor model mosque (type-B) with a third floor base has an area of ​​1,060.14 square meters per floor. The total area of ​​the building is 29,600 square feet. Implementation cost 13 crore 41 lakh 60 thousand taka. The physical infrastructure of this model mosque and Islamic cultural center has been implemented through the Department of Public Works. The implementing agency is the Islamic Foundation. Ministry of Entrepreneurship Ministry of Religious Affairs. Mirsarai Upazila Model Mosque has arrangements for performing prayers of 900 people at a time. This spacious model mosque with modern facilities and Islamic Cultural Complex has separate ablution and prayer facilities for men and women. , Registration and Training of Hajj Pilgrims, Training of Imams, Autism Center, Mass Education Center, Islamic Culture Center. In addition, office arrangements and car parking facilities have been provided for the officers and employees in the cultural center including the accommodation of Imam-Muazzin.
